In transness is an ongoing portrait series of trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming individuals in everyday moments of play, comfort, joy, and rest. As an ongoing series, these portraits exist as archival documents encapsulating the boundlessness of gender embodiment and expression, where glimpses of transness attest to the expansive, imaginative, riotous modes of being saturated with a collective refusal to the submission of normative identification and belonging.
